Inspired by a true story with surrealist embellishments, “a film about a uterus” tells the story of a young woman who is to transfer her mom’s uterus (in a jar) from the hospital to a lab for examination. No male next-of-kin was available so she has unwillingly become her mother’s “guardian”. As she embarks on this mission, she must contend with others’ aggressive behaviours while caring for the womb that birthed her as if it’s her own newborn.
